We had been looking at buying an apartment to renovate in the Port for a while and thought we had found one that suited our requirements. We received a response to our email the very next day with an offer to view the property and report back on its suitability. Unfortunately, this property fell through, and our search continued over the next 14 months.

Throughout this period, both Mick and Sue were diligent and patient, helping us throughout the selection process. Once we had completed on the apartment, we had our competitive quote in the bag and we were good to go.

As with any renovation, there were unforeseen problems but these were quickly communicated, options given and problems resolved. After a long delay because of Covid, we finally got to see the renovation in June 2021 and were delighted with the outcome. "I waited a long time to refurbish my apartment during which time I got many quotes, from the unbelievably cheap to the believably very expensive. I listened to even more horror stories from people who had work done that came in at twice the quote and wasn’t even good quality with never ending snagging problems.

I am very happy to say that Mick's quote was in the middle and most importantly was fair and honest as he had itemised all parts of the job. Where I had options, even once the job started, he discussed them and told me of the cost and quality implications.

The end result was on time, on budget and the quality is there to see, for example, you won’t see better tiling on the island.
